The room was cozy, but noise from the road was a bit disruptive.

Good location for exploring west Cornwall, fun theme nights like bingo, comfortable room with essential amenities.
The courtyard window opens directly into the pub's smoking area, allowing unwanted smoke to drift inside!!! A bit more attention to soundproofing would be appreciated too. noise from the pub carries quite well.

A lovely warm welcome from the owner set the tone for a relaxing three-night stay. The comfortable room had everything needed for a pleasant getaway, and the dog-friendly atmosphere made it even better. The pub's delicious food, especially the fish, kept us coming back for more, along with fun theme nights like bingo. The only downside was the limited parking space, which could be a challenge during busy times.

Absolutely loved the yummy dishes at The Fountain! The sweet potatoes were a total standout—hands down the best I've ever tasted! Plus, Tracey, the owner, is a true gem—she makes you feel right at home.
A bit of road noise in the mornings, but we slept like logs! A vanity table or small chest in the room would have been a nice touch too.

I had a fantastic 2-night stay where I was greeted with a warm welcome that made me feel right at home. The meals were a highlight, with the sweet potatoes being the best I've ever tasted! My room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, perfect for a peaceful retreat. Although the location was lovely, some road noise in the morning could be improved.

The cozy decor radiates a welcoming vibe that makes for a comfortable stay. A standout feature is the outstanding breakfast that truly highlights the uniqueness of the dining experience, offering a delicious selection that satisfies every palate.
Road noise in the mornings can be a bit distracting, especially if you're not an early riser. a suitcase rack would have been useful. my luggage ended up on the floor, which isn't ideal. if your room is near the entrance, be prepared for passersby peeking in, making it hard to keep the curtains open throughout the day.

from the moment we arrived at the fountain inn, we felt right at home. tracey was super friendly and her team made us feel welcome. the local people we met in the bar were also so friendly, sharing laughs and stories. the room was comfy and really tidy, and the food was always delicious! location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions like lands end and st michael's mount.
only a bit noisy during the day from passing cars, and the window faced a smoking area, so cigarette smoke came in. but overall, it was a great stay!
